This course will help you on your journey to becoming a public speaker or improving your public speaking - if that means in the boardroom, pitching your business (or idea) to investors, defending your thesis, presenting your work, performing on stage, speaking up for what you believe in or giving that family speech. How do I know? Because I've done them all.
Becoming Brilliant is a work in progress, but what a fun one to pursue! You may be a little scared of what this process might take you through internally, of what you might find out about yourself or how you may change - but that is the point, to get you to the point of being able to walk out in front of this world and show yourself, fully knowing you got this! Why? Because the world needs You! As I always say, Shine Bright, You Are Brilliant and the Earth is Hiring, so what are you waiting for...let's get your grand ideas out there and change the world!

- Techniques for building your self-confidence, focus, and managing your emotions
- Finding and Deploying your Superhero
- Preparation for working the stage, speaking clearly and delivering your content
- How to keep your audience engaged
- What to do post-delivery
- Delivery Practice sessions that will include several methods of practicing by working individually, in groups or 1:1 with the instructor

Your Instructor
Dr. Andrea Kraj is a revolutionary leader in developing advanced, microgrid energy systems. Dr. Kraj is a practicing professional engineer, with her work focused on the application of intelligent energy systems for improved management of multiple renewable energy systems in island nations for rural electrification and autonomy from fossil fuel dependence. She holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Manitoba, which has shaped her passion for community renewable energy, smart cities, smart grid, remote power systems, energy policy and sustainability.
She is an accomplished author and speaker (TEDx), having published several articles on energy policy, community energy development, and remote power systems. Dr. Kraj also created and hosts the podcast, Fempower, with the intention of celebrating women, especially focused on representing women in the T.E.A.M.S. fields.
